As more souls come to his ring of Hell, Iratus wonders about his effectiveness and goes “Topside” to take the punishment to the innocence-takers, before they can take more innocence. While on Earth, Iratus frees sixteen-year-old Raven Mijares from human-traffickers. The two form a bond, and Raven teaches Iratus what it means to be human while helping him uncover the true reason he was tricked into coming to Earth.
